“Memorial EM is a phenomenal place to be for students who want to do EM and I think every student who comes here will have an enjoyable time here learning and seeing the most complex and intriguing cases in all of Broward ”

“Outstanding clinicians and educators—extremely supportive and fun to be around. They facilitated an excellent educational experience with plenty of learning opportunities during my shifts.”

“Dr. Wenger was a great teacher and I learned a lot from him. He took the time to explain each case before we saw the patient, he then immediately explained his thought process in the patient's workup, and then he explained all tests/imaging that came back. He explained questions I did not know the answer to and was never judgmental. He made me feel comfortable to answer and ask questions.”

“Dr. Atia was a great teacher and genuinely expressed an interest in having me learn why and how things are done in the emergency room. He was very open and honest about the emergency medicine speciality and I think any student is lucky to be taught by him.”

“Dr. Remaly genuinely cared about my learning experience and took extra time to explain concepts to me. He was very approachable and I felt like I was able to ask him any question I had and it wouldn't be a disturbance to him.”

“Dr. MelnitSky made me feel like I was a part of the team. He  made sure to stop and teach, during those teachable moments, but I also learned a lot from his interactions with the patients.”

“The residents made the experience 10x better by making me feel super welcomed and that I could come to them if I needed help with anything. made my shifts more engaging and taught me continuously during our shifts together.”

“All of the attendings I worked with were great teachers and super helpful and enjoyable to work with!”

“They taught me so much and made time to explain management in a receptive way. The environment was so supportive and really stood out as an amazing program due to the great teachers.”

“The residents and chiefs ensured we were having a great experience. They always made sure that we knew what was happening and were more than willing to answer questions.  They were very helpful while on shift and made the experience enjoyable. Always willing to teach whenever questions arise.”
